Fruit Salad

How do you get fruit in your diet when you're living on your food storage? Canned and frozen fruit is an easy way to do it. In the winter, you can enjoy fruit picked at its peak.

Any combination of the following:
Canned fruit: peaches, pears, mandarin oranges, pineapple, apricots
Fresh fruit: apples (these can store for months in the refrigerator)
Frozen fruit: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, pomegrantes

You can also buy canned fruit cocktail, canned grapefruit, etc. to add to your fruit salad.

In the picture above, I used home canned peaches, pears, apricots (from my garden), canned mandarin oranges (bought on case-lot sale) and frozen blackberries (from my garden).
