Southern Pecan Pie
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
Dash salt
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup chopped pecan halves (plus enough unbroken halves for decorating, if desired)
9-inch unbaked pie crust
Beat together first six ingredients. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
