 The Freezer

The freezer is an important part of your food storage. This is where you put your great sales on frozen vegetables, meats, and cheeses. It's also a good place to keep some cooked beans for conveience.
Here's what I try to keep in my freezer:

Unsalted Butter

Frozen blueberries
Frozen raspberries
Frozen strawberries
Peas

Roast (in your freezer; buy several on sale at $1.89/lb)
Ham steak (in your freezer; buy several shank hams on sale for $.99/lb and have the butcher slice them into steaks)
Spiral Sliced Ham
Pork roast
Boneless skinless chicken breasts
Cooked turkey (bought in November, cooked, and put in freezer bags).
Cooked ground beef

Whole chicken
Whole turkey (bought in November)

Grated cheddar cheese
Grated mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesean cheese

Orange juice concentrate
Lemonade concentrate
