Today I am thankful for windows, and that I have a view of the sky from inside my house. It is a beautiful morning and I can see it from my bed. That has not been possible in most places that I have lived.
What are you thankful for today?

I am very thankful for the opportunity to speak to friends around the world via video calls. I am so amazed each time I am able to do so. Yesterday a friend and I were able to introduce our children to one another, even though they are in France. Our children are similar ages and…
Today I’m thankful for the opportunity to sleep in, and for warm blankets and a warm house. What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for the opportunity to go garage sale shopping with my mom this morning. It’s an unexpected trip; we usually only go on two Saturday mornings a year. She found a community sale for us to attend, and while I think it’s much smaller than where we usually go (probably one tract, versus an…
Today, I am grateful for the pleasure of a video phone call to friends in France. I am still amazed that this technology exists and that it doesn’t cost anything to call (so different from paying high prices per minute for a regular phone call!) plus I get to see everyone’s smiles and see how much their children…
On this hundred year anniversary of the armistice, I am thankful that I am free. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful to have spent time organizing this year. While I still have some places in the house left to finish organizing, most areas in the house have been reorganized this year, and having the house in order makes life so much nicer! What are you thankful for today?
Today i am thankful for adult children who still call their parents for advice and a chat. We are so blessed!
Today, I’m thankful that it’s snowing! It’s the first day of snow in Toronto, and I loooove snow! The DH and I met during a snowshoeing trip, and got married in February, with wedding pics taken outside in the snow. Can you tell we’re Canadian? 😉 Yay, snow!
I am thankful for a husband who cooked our breakfast this morning. He also cleaned the kitchen. I am so blessed to be married to him.
I am thankful that I was able to attend a wedding shower last night. It was wonderful to talk and catch up with some of my cousins. It shower started at 6:30pm. My mom and I didn’t get home until midnight!:o
I am also thankful for a nice warm house to hibernate in. Winter temperatures arrived last night. I’ve been watching the snow slowly build up all day through the view from our window. No pretty ski for us today, I’m afraid.:p
I am thankful that no one needs me today and I can lay on the sofa nursing my head cold. A few short year ago this would have been so much harder:)
Also thankful today for a cozy house and no reason to leave it. Snow is falling and it is quite windy and generally miserable. Husband has asked for homemade pizza tonight, and he will have it. We have been reading all day and will watch some TV later and generally recharge our batteries for the week ahead.
I am thankful for the rain coming into Phoenix this afternoon. For a change we have lots of clouds and wind, and the smell of rain in the air, it is lovely! And I am very thankful I have the time to sit and enjoy the clouds heading our way, and good eyesight to see it with. When I started reading Brandy’s comment about looking out her windows, it made me think how lucky I was to be able to see anything.
I am so thankful for internet and iPhones so that I can stay in touch with my family.
I am thankful for my dad’s good health. He will be 80 next May but he is still in excellent health. He is very active (biking at least a couple of miles every day), his memory is 110% and he still has energy to fully engage and play with very active 3 granddaughters. What a blessing!
I’m thankful for our wonderful church community. When Mass is over, we have a social space to gather in and catch up from the week. The church provides plenty of snacks and drinks so we don’t have to rush home hungry!
