I’m thankful to have been able to watch church from home.
What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful we were able to borrow an oven thermometer. My oven has suddenly been warming 65 degrees cooler than it should be. Knowing the problem, I can turn it up, check the thermometer, and bake for Thanksgiving. I’ll need to have it fixed, but there’s no need to go buy pies instead of baking…
Today as I dug in the garden and planted bulbs, I was very grateful that we were able to relandscape the garden. That area of the garden had been overrun with solid crabgrass roots and I had not been able to eradicate them in over 15 years. We removed all of the soil from that…
I’m thankful for my two-year-old, who yesterday answered my childhood question of whether or not it was possible to stick green olives with pimentos on one’s fingers just as well as black olives. If your fingers are small enough, you sure can! I’m also thankful for all of his ugs, and his remark to…
I spent Friday and Saturday having a garage sale. It was the second-largest sale I’ve ever had in terms of items for sale. We set up seven tables and also hung clothes between three ladders on metal conduit. I am thankful that my parents gave us items to sell; they were larger items and the…
I’m thankful my husband is willing to take my daughter to her doctor’s appointment today. I don’t like going to the doctor’s and I was dreading taking her. I asked him this morning and he agreed to take her instead. What are you thankful for today?
Armistice Day, Remembrance Day, Veteran’s Day I am thankful for those who have fought for freedom. What are you thankful for today?
I usually awake and hit the ground, running. This day, i slept in, walked the dog then started my day. Very enjoyable and much needed.
I am thankful I got to see my mom and dad today – safely. In our area the Covid numbers are spiking, so this was the last quick visit for what I hope is a short time. I’ve been lucky enough to take my dad to empty pickle ball courts to play one on one weekly with him these last months.
11/15 I am thankful for the opportunity to take a hike this morning.
I am thankful for the home health nurses who take care of my. They are amazing!
I am thankful that my husband has been getting some little things done in a more timely manner again. It has helped our home run more smoothly. We have all had some medical issues the last few years and my MIL is in assisted living now so it is nice to get a few things more normal again.
I am thankful we had no damage from the winds last night!
I am thankful that I can go for a weekly walk with my best friend.
Brandy, are your online church services available to the general public? Thanks!
Sarah
I don’t know! Yesterday was a special conference for several congregations, and because of the gathering limit here, they had to have those who wanted to attend in person make reservations (up to the limited number). Everyone else was given a link to watch online.
Our regular meetings are now being held and there is an online version for those who are staying home. I’ll ask, as this is a new thing due to Covid, and we just started meetings back in person. Our governor may be announcing a shutdown again this week, so that can affect things. I’ll let you know!
Thank you!
I am thankful I had a free morning to drive to the foothills to load up on apples for the winter! It was a beautiful day for a drive!
I am thankful for email, text, chat, zoom, skype and phone calls! All the ways to stay connected with family far away in this crazy year of 2020.
I am also thankful for a husband who willingly makes dinner so I can finish up my work for the day in a timely manner.
And thank you, Brandy, for your beautiful photographs! Our garden is frozen and under a bit of snow right now. Your photos make me so happy and keep me dreaming about next spring.
