Today, I am thankful for the extra help that Wren and Ezrom gave me in the garden and cleaning in the library. What are you thankful for today?
Each November, I post a series of gratitude. I share one thing I am thankful for that day and invite readers to do the same. Today, I am thankful for the freedom to choose how to educate my children. Up until 2 1/2 months ago, I had always homeschooled my children. On the first day…
I am thankful that this sweet baby boy of mine took a nap yesterday and gave me an opportunity to sew! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for all of the clients that have entrusted me to photograph them this year. It’s been a delight to capture the love they have for one another. (You can see more of my work on Instagram here and book a session on my website here.) I’m also very thankful for all of you!…
Today, I’m thankful for my husband’s patience as I drew and redrew part of the garden plans both inside and outside. We discovered that our wall on the east side of the garden is not straight; we had measured it along the back of the garden near the fig tree, but it is considerably shorter…
I am thankful for the beautiful weather we had today. I went outside for a bit to enjoy it. I’m also thankful to have found a misplaced pattern piece that I need to make gifts for 3 children. Now I can make them! What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for, and humbled by, the people who by instinct and training run toward danger. This means the soldiers, police, emergency people, volunteers, and others who take care of the world. I don’t know if I could do what they do.
Brandy … so true about friends. I’m thankful for a warm heating pad to ease my arthritis, along with the medical miracles that allow me to go about my life as best I can.
I am thankful for a quiet weekend at home. We have busy weekends starting next weekend through Christmas, and I’m grateful for the quiet before everything starts.

I’m grateful for a tidy house and healthy children!
I’m grateful for my grandfather, father, and brother who all served in the US military. Proud of their service. I enjoyed the lovely fireworks display that was across the street from my condo on Nov. 12. I think it must have been in honor of Veterans’ Day as I can’t think of any other reason for fireworks in Nov. It was better than July 4th!
I’m grateful for my new fridge that dispenses crushed, cubed ice, and water.
You saw the Diwali celebration.
I also am grateful for (and proud of) the sacrifices and patriotism of my father and grandfather, who were WW2 veterans. I miss them both so much. I heard many stories from them that I treasure, but I always wish I’d had more time to hear more.
I am thankful for all the people, past and present, who selflessly serve our country.
I am grateful for a gorgeous fall, one of the perks of a drought and no storms to take the leaves down! It has been absolutely beautiful this fall!🍁
After camping this weekend, a warm bed and a mattress!
Grateful for technology that opens our eyes to learning at our fingertips and friends worldwide!
I am thankful for a warm place to be when the cold wind blows, a snug bed and warm and nourishing food. When my children were small, this wasn’t always so. Memories I cannot shake.
I’m thankful for the many veterans in my family, and I’m thankful for weather that is just about perfect, other than being too dry. I don’t even have to run fans right now.
I am thankful for family members who made the decision to enlist in the military during WWI and WWII before they were “called up”. A decision that shows how much they valued our freedoms.
I am thankful for family members who have served in the military. Both grandfathers, two uncles, and now two nephews. One uncle died in service.
I am thankful for potato chips! Truly! An acceptable vice and one that has brightened many a dismal day! Thank you, George Crum!!!
