Today didn’t go as I had planned, yet I still managed to accomplish several needed things today, thanks to help from my family. My two youngest children were ill, but everyone helped to make them as happy and as comfortable as possible, and they took turns reading to and holding my youngest and helping extra in the kitchen so I could hold him when he only wanted mom. I’m grateful that everyone pitched in and helped.
What are you thankful for today?
Brandy, I trust your two youngest will feel better soon. You have trained your children so well to help out.
It was a blessing to get a walk with my husband today because he came home from work much earlier than expected!
I am thankful to have freedom –– freedom of religion, freedom to believe or not, freedom of beliefs, freedom of speech.
I am thankful for a friend who did an errand for me. It was close to her house.
I did not save any money but didn’t spend any either. I hope your little ones feel better soon.
it is so heartwarming to see how the older children pitched in to help.
Hello Brandy and everyone from Australia 🙂 and Brandy I hope your two youngest get better soon.
Today I am thankful we had a wonderful day in the garden thinning out volunteer marigolds, sweet corn and watermelon seedlings. We were able to make another 5 metre row of sugar baby watermelons in the gardens, 2 x 5mt rows of marigolds on either end of one of our large garden beds, and 5 x 1mt rows of sweet corn.
I am thankful for the weaver’s group meeting that I attended before our handweaver’s and spinners guild meeting last night. I learned so much about how to read weaving patterns and feel much more comfortable figuring out my 1st 4-shaft weaving project. I am also thankful for the guild meeting where an amazing master weaver, Inge Dam, gave us a bit of a talk about what she does, then let us oooh and awwe over her stunning woven fabrics, which she often trims with beautiful beadwork! Here’s a link to see some of her gorgeous fabrics: https://ingedam.wordpress.com/galleries/
Today i’m Thankful for laughter. It really is the best medicine!
Today I am thankful for my dishwasher and my new vacuum. Our old vacuum got to the point where I could no longer fix it, so I was able to buy the new model that I wanted. The new one works so much better! So thankful.
Last night we got to go to a Shaun McDonald concert. It was only 10 dollars a ticket and was in the church across from our house. We even had a break in the rain so it was a dry walk for hubby and I. Enjoyed it very much!
I am thankful for the borrowed keyboard I was able to acquire. It’s make work i need to accomplish so much easier than then it was using the virtual keyboard on my laptop!

I am thankful for the kindness of others. I went to the store and I was running late. The line was long even though I had just a few items. The woman in front of me had a full cart. She offered to let me go in front of her! It was a sweet kindness on a busy day.
11-18 I am thankful for my siblings….my one sister and my four brothers. I am glad my parents raised us with the importance of family and unconditional love. We enjoy getting together, we know how to forgive each other over disagreements should they occur. Our children—the cousins—are good friends too.
11-19 I am thankful for this blog Brandy writes for all of us. I appreciate the styling of it, the lack of obtrusive ads popping up and covering the content, the lack of advertising name dropping. I honor her spirit and wisdom and energy to share with us when I am sure at times she is just exhausted. As a reminder, fellow readers, use her Amazon link when possible as it benefits us all.
11-20 I am thankful for this season of thankfulness before the onslaught of holiday commercialism drowns everything else out.
Posting a day late, but yesterday, the 20th, I’m grateful that my dear friend’s husband had a successful surgery. The doctor believes they got all the cancer and that he should be back to himself in no time.
On November 20th. I am thankful for the man my eldest daughter is marrying. There is so much to admire about him. How he cherishes my daughter and is such a good man warms my momma heart. We are blessed by his presence and a gift I would like to work on for him and my daughter is expressing my admiration.
I am thankful for time spent just enjoying the day with my husband. I hope your children get better soon Brandy.
I’m very thankful that my daughter drove the 12 hours (10 hours + breaks) from college to be here for Thanksgiving. We are very blessed.
These are so beautiful! I’m glad you had the chance to see her and her fabrics, and share them with us.
It was a wonderful experience for me. I am great full that the Guild invited me to present my work.
