November 10th: I’m thankful that my children wanted to set up the Christmas tree early! This is earlier than we had planned; we were going to do it in a couple of weeks. While my husband and I were working outside in the garden, they took down the tree and set it up, fluffed it…

The town has greatly expanded over the decades and we now have many chain stores and restaurants in the area hut the downtown area has independent, small business owner stores and every month we have “Third Thursday” with different groups setting up booths and multiple food trucks serving up very tasty food. There is also a town wide food drive this month to help out senior citizens and school children.
