I’m thankful that I slept until my alarm went off, rather than awakening 90 minutes earlier like I have most days this past week.
What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for a little boy who was listening at church, even when I thought he wasn’t. I know he was listening, because the speaker said he was grateful for the prayers that had been made on his behalf. My young son whispered to me, “What’s a bee half?” What are you thankful for…
I’m grateful for the beautiful weather we had today. It was warm enough for the children to play outside and there was no wind. The children enjoyed eating lunch outside. What are you thankful for today?
Today, I am thankful that I was able to learn how to fix something that I have long had to hire out. I am glad that I can now take care of this repair myself! What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for good friends and acquaintances who influence me in positive ways. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for the inspiration I find on social media. I know for a lot of people, social media brings feelings of envy. If someone you follow makes you feel this way, I encourage you to take a break from following that person (or persons) and follow those that make you feel inspired. I…
I’m thankful for the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful that I live within walking distance of two libraries. I had some books to return and the weather was chilly but sunny. My husband offered to walk with me, so we had a nice time walking to return the books and talked about houses and architecture. I enjoyed spending that time with him. We chose to walk to a library in a residential area–and it’s also at the top of a big hill, so we got a better workout.
I am thankful I grew up among the soft voiced people, (that is what I call NW Minnesota), who taught me by word and by example how to be kind.
I’m thankful for my parents, the values they imparted and the education they provided, both in school (grades 1-12) and at home.
I slept through the night last night, which is rare for me, so this morning I, too, am thankful for sleep!
I’m thankful that my daughter made it through tsa in Philadelphia early this morning. Haven’t heard from my son yet but hopefully he did too.
I’m also thankful that even though my military service son can’t be with us on Thanksgiving that he’ll be having a nice Thanksgiving dinner at a local family’s house. He went there last year and had a blast. I’m thankful for the woman who is opening up her home to him.
Im also thankful for the technology that allows me to check in with my grown children everyday.
Today I am thankful that we have time off from work this week to enjoy food and family and decorate our home for the upcoming Christmas season.
I am most thankful for my family. We don’t get to see each other often, but when we do it is wonderful.
I’m thankful that I’m getting better about finding bits of joy in the holiday season. It is usually a very difficult time of the year for me, but I’m doing much better this year.
I am so thankful that my daughter can come to me about the persecution of her by her future in-law family. They’ve uninvited only her, exclude her and even won’t let her or her future husband meet his new nephew or interact with his brother. I’m saddened, but there to support her. My daughter has a head injury she sustained in college and her fiancé has his own health issues. We are very close and I’m thankful to be able to support her- especially after all the support she has given through these couple years of cancer treatment.
I’m grateful that I still have my parents.
I am thankful for the beautiful weather on our family walk today (blue skies and winter sunshine!) – and that we live in a four-season climate with a lot of variation within those seasons. It makes me appreciate each bit of weather all the more that it’s a change from something else. Even mizzle is nice from time to time!
I am thankful for a wonderful emergency plumber!
I’m thankful for the good report at my annual vision checkup!
I am thankful DS likes his job and the employees he works with. He is a hit with senior customers and always has something nice to say about them. The neighbor’s dog still runs over to him whenever he sees him come home for a run around the yard and attention.
I’m thankful for the 10lb. bag of pecans that our friend gave us last Christmas (they have a farm). After making a couple of pies over the year, they will supply us for pies again this holiday season. We keep them in the freezer. Yum!!
Today, just as everyday I am very thankful for my husband. He is very resourceful and can fix or repair almost anything. He is willing to try to make just about anything we need and saves us so much money with his willing spirit and attitude.
Today I am thankful that three difficult matters at work resolved. I am feeling blessed and at peace.
I am thankful for another beautiful fall day here and getting to go for a walk as part of my job, nannying. I take the two year old for a walk in all kinds of weather, it is a blessing for both of us!
I’m thankful that some of my family are coming over for Thanksgiving.
Today I am thankful that we stocked up our food storage, coincidentally, right before the pandemic. Dipping into that has helped to keep our food budget level during rising costs. We have also been able to make things for family and friends.
I am thankful that I had the money for the root canal that I had to have done today. I am thankful for my dog Frankie he has brought me joy and comfort since I adopted him last December
I am thankful that four of our six children will be home for Thanksgiving! Hooray!
I am thankful that I was able to find 2 x 600 ml containers of thickened cream on markdown for $1.50 ea and I noticed that cream has gone up yet again to $3.20 per 600 ml in our local supermarkets.
Very grateful that we have been able to build up our food storage over the last 18 months, had the money to do so through living frugally , as it helps to cushion the huge price rises we are getting currently 🙂 .
Today I am thankful for sunshine and warm clothes during the winter months. It’s not quite winter yet, but the temperatures are certainly dropping!
I am thankful for medical insurance that allowed me to go the dermatologist to get my skin checked. I had a mole removed and am so grateful that the test results showed it to be benign! 😊
I am thankful for insurance from my husband’s employer (he is retired and now working only part-time there as a contract laborer) that covered $3,460 of the prescription to treat my C-Diff infection. The infection was caused by necessary antibiotics for my recent broken tooth and removal, all covered by insurance. So in spite of suffering from these physical issues, I can be thankful that I can receive the best of care without worry of depleting our bank account.
I am thankful that today was a super productive day. I have a list of things to do each day before our big meal on Thursday and happily I was able to accomplish today and tomorrows items already! Yeah! Some of these, like cleaning floors and bathrooms, are my least favorite tasks so to have them done is wonderful 😉
