Today, I am thankful that I was able to learn how to fix something that I have long had to hire out. I am glad that I can now take care of this repair myself! What are you thankful for today?
Today marks the 200th day without rain in Las Vegas. Our normal rainfall here is 4 inches (10 centimeters) a year, and we’ve only received 2 inches (5 cm) this year. We had a very wet spring, thankfully, but a very dry winter is predicted. We’re also having record heat for this time of year!…
I am thankful today that my family made all of the meals. I was able to rest while they did so. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful that we received some rain. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful for meaningful, understanding conversation, and many hidden vegetables in my garden! What are you thankful for today?
I’m grateful for a quiet Thanksgiving spent at home. What are you thankful for today?
I too am thankful for today. My list is getting crossed off one by one. I am blessed to have the strength and energy to accomplish these tasks.
Today I am thankful for fussy grandchildren in my house. *laughing* They were terrors this morning while getting ready for school.
So many grandparents don’t see their grandbabies as much as they would like. That includes me about my other 4 grandkids.
Yes…today I am thankful for Gaby and Zayne with all their warts and all.
Today I’m thankful for good medicine, and for doctors who do research. And for access to said doctors!
Today I am thankful for plucking up the courage to ask if I could join my local branch of the Embroiderer’s Guild.
I am thankful for my to-do list which mercifully looks shorter than Brandy’s! :):):):):):)
I am thankful for all the individuals who support me in so many ways. I am blessed:)
I am so thankful for having plan A and B! Trusting that all will work out for us!
Today i’m thankful for the sun. Winter sun is the best; it makes all our grey days bearable.
I am thankful that I have a home that I love, family to share it with and the food for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.
Today I am thankful for rain. My allergies have been a real pain in the head, but the rain has really washed the air. It always smells so go after a rain. Thank you Lord for rain.
Today I am thankful for the cool weather and The San Diego sun coming thru the window.

I am thankful my first day back at doing the Christmas programs at work is over. It was a bit disorganized, but we survived. I’m exhausted from all the kids (they were a good group today, just not used to it yet) and ready to take a nap on the couch this evening…I’m thankful for couches to nap on, too. Have to get up and do it all again tomorrow. I’m thankful my job is fun!
I am thankful for a good crop of butternut squash. This morning I made a couple dozen squash rolls to pop in the freezer for Thanksgiving, & prepped the rest of the squash to use tomorrow when I bake the pies.
I’m thankful for a gorgeous autumnal day, the rain we had recently, and for positive activities with my family that have kept me too busy to post recently. 🙂
I am thankful today for the energy to get some errands done and some organizing in the stockpile room.
I am thankful for flannel sheets and down comforters to keep us warm at night.
Thankful that I do not have ovarian cancer. Received the good news today.
I am SO thankful for a daughter (who has three small children) who layed down her own very lengthy “To Do” list to come to my home today to decorate my Christmas tree and mantle. It was a very selfless act of love. She is also hosting our family for Thanksgiving. I have had my second major foot surgery since June and she has been a tremendous help. I don’t know what I would do without her. I am immensely thankful for her!
I am thankful for the rain I heard when I woke up this morning. We needed it.
Squash rolls! What a great idea. Do you successfully make them gluten-free? I know you do a lot that way, but wondered if you had found a way to do these that way.
Today, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to spend the day with my 2 nieces and my nephew. When added to my 3, who all wanted to tag along today, we had a surprisingly peaceful day. The schools here take the entire week of Thanksgiving off for students because of conferences, but the teachers and aids work 12 hours on both Monday and Tuesday. My sister and brother-in-law had to work as well.
I’m thankful that Rob got to work (the 2-12 hour days), because the money will come in handy. On the flip side, I will be very happy when he gets home tonight and gets to rest. I’m super thankful that he can barbecue the turkey tomorrow and get the house the rest of the way ready for Thursday. I’ve done quite a bit, but am not quite finished and have a pretty long day tomorrow. I’m thankful that I have no reservations about letting him get ready for a big holiday–what a blessing that his is as capable as I.
I am thankful to be home after a very long day three drive to doctors appt, airport and three hours back. Exhausted, but thankful healthy and safe.
Today I am thankful for my nieces. They love my dad (and their grandpa) with all their hearts. It truly is heartwarming to see.
What a relief that must be for you. I’m so happy that you had this good news,
I am so thankful for so many things. I have a great job, beautiful home and my 2 daughters who make me the mom I am everyday. We have what we need and are blessed by God everyday.
Thank you!
I love your handwriting Brandy! So flowy! It’s a shame that penmanship is a lost art in Public schools today. I still feel that handwriting is an important skill that all children need to be taught regardless of the technological age we now live.
Thank you Brandy for continuing to inspire me.
