  4. I’m thankful for my son today. It is such a blessing to witness holidays and traditions through the eyes of a child. Even the simplest of things are cherished. Extra snuggle time, play time and time in the kitchen with Mama preparing our holiday meal and goodies to go along have thrilled him and I am truly blessed to witness it. Love my little family so much!!

  5. I am thankful for a spouse who knows the importance of isolating (with me) this Thanksgiving. Before he retired he attended infectious disease seminars as part of his job. I will miss my grandchildren and children but realize that this is just one year and I am thankful that we will all be safer this way.
I went all out and made placemats, runners, napkins, plus new candles. We are making rolls and pie at home.
We are going to dress up and play music that we love. Plus we are texting with relations to show phone pics of what our table and food look like.

  6. I am thankful for my pastor and his wife, who are going to visit family in the same town as my sister lives. They are taking my Christmas presents to their in-laws house where my sister will pick it up, saving me a lot on postage and it has gifts to unwrap with things to do before Christmas. It all got arranged today and I will take it to them bright and early tomorrow. My sister has really been struggling and I thought early gifts would bring some joy. They were happy to do it!

  7. I am thankful that my husband’s stress test today showed no immediate concerns. After two previous heart attacks, that was music to my ears!

  8. I’m thankful for decent (in Nov.) weather. I really don’t want mountains of snow just yet. I feel the need to stay in denial just a bit longer, please and thank you!

  9. I am grateful that Andrea Bocelli is giving a livestream, online concert on Dec. 12. I don’t have a ticket yet but
hope to get one soon. It will bring joy to many people.

I am glad that the temperature is going up.

And that I have food, heat, light and good friends.
