  1. Brandy, I love the Bobbie pins! This may be a gift I could do for a certain little Miss. I hope you post the tutorial for us.
My thankfulness comes from Woody Allen who says it much better than I.
“I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” I can’t argue with that!

  2. Last night, neither my husband nor I were feeling very well so we treated ourselves to a trip to the store to find easy dinner. In the process we found whole turkeys marked down to 43 cents a pound and bought two! Protein for weeks!

  3. Today I am thankful that all of the fall décor is put away and the house is ready to decorate for Christmas. I’m putting on the Christmas music and setting up the tree. We will have fun decorating it and enjoy seeing the familiar ornaments that have stored been away all year. Christmas is such a time of nostalgia and traditions.

  4. Beautiful! We need the tutorial on this! ASAP!

My cats want to say that they are thankful that I took apart an old comforter and made it into three pillows for them, two on the chairs in my bedroom and the third one on the bed itself so they each have a soft place to lay. I am thankful I had the skill and the imagination to do it and that all it cost me was sometime while I was watching college football and professional hockey games.

  5. I am thankful DD had lots of fun at a birthday party today. I am very grateful she has made a friend she gets along with so well. It is very precious to me to see DD so happy.

  6. The bobby pins are so pretty. I just confess I made a few just for me. I love having a little something something when I pin my bangs back.
I am thankful today for knowing to say no to going out today, thus saving gas.

  7. I am Thankful our Thanksgiving was very nice. First year without Dad complaining about how much he hates the smell of turkey cooking and my mom cooking it in a Roaster on the covered porch. Strange what you remember. The 7 of us did surprising well. While we did lose my dad in May, my oldest niece got married the sat before thanksgiving so we have a new 8th member to our small family.

  8. I would love to make these! Today I am thankful to be able to eat, be warm and have a wonderful family. i am blessed!

  9. I’m thankful I got to try hot yoga w/a friend. The studio had a special so I was able to try a class for free, then purchase a 3 visit package for cheap. I have had a health issue pop up and the hot yoga has helped tremendously. It’s not something I would have ever tried on my own, so I am very grateful!

  10. I am thankful for Brandy, her family, and the “family” that shares on this blog.
I am thankful the 1st turkey is deboned and broth and meat processed and turkey #2 is in the oven.
I am thankful that the ham meat is processed and the bone is in the stock pot simmering.
I am thankful the beef roast is processed and the broth is in the frig to defat overnight.
I am thankful that the dishes are done and put away.
I am thankful that boxes of stuff in the front room is now put away upstairs correctly (I didn’t dump and go LOL)
I am thankful that this month’s bills along with December and January’s bills are paid or the $$ in the savings.
I am thankful for a full pantry that has variety so we aren’t eating ham, turkey or beef roast today.

  11. Thankful for a quiet Sunday and the few things I was able to accomplish before passing out on the couch for a while. I promised DH I would attempt to cook tonight—looks like goulash, pumpkin bread, and either a veggie or a side salad. My energy is not the greatest. Nothing is especially sore, just that I get half way through something and want to sit down again. We will eat something, and we will be fine! And if anyone is hungry later, there is popcorn or ice cream!

  12. I”m from Australia so Thanksgiving has not been part of my heritage but I appreciate hearing how other people celebrate important traditions in their cultures/families. So I am grateful for the sharing that happens on this blog. Plus I am also thankful that my husband was able to take our girls to school this morning as I’m still unwell, allowing me some extra rest.

  13. I am thankful that we were able to complete the whole house spring and deep cleaning the bathroom, toilet and kitchen as well as cleaning and polishing the venetian blinds and mopping all the floors and the whole home sparkles and smells less dusty.

  14. I am thankful for my pantry –– not extensive but am glad I have lentils and will make soup tonight. Frozen okra, tomatoes with green peppers and onion, lentils and carrots. That should tide me over. I am grateful for the tips I read about here and the friendship. Ann

  15. I am thankful for my husband who suggested we cut up leftover meatloaf to use as meatballs in our spaghetti dinner. I had frozen hamburger but didn’t have any cooked meatballs….and had no enthusiasm to cook them tonight. The cut up meatloaf worked out great, cleanup was a snap and the food was delicious. Plan B was leftover turkey but we are pretty tired of that right now 🙂

  16. I am thankful for the energy to make chili for an unknown number tomorrow and also cornbread and double of brownies. Thankful for a husband who had all the dishes done until I made more for the meeting tomorrow. Thankful for Brandy’s faithfulness with this encouragement and ministry for all of us who have to watch pennies! ( And for friends who provide the moose burger for the chili!)
