Today, I’m thankful for the help of a friend to my husband twice today.
What are you thankful for today?

What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for kind neighbors. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful for the beautiful sunny morning. What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that I’ve always been a morning person. My mother tells me that when I was a little over a year old, I would climb up and jump out of my crib every morning at 4 a.m. I was ready to start the day! Getting up early in the morning affords me the opportunity…
I’m thankful for my husband going to the grocery store for me yesterday. while I stayed at home and painted. He called while there to ask me what else we might need from the store as they had a deal where if you spend $100, you get a free turkey. He bought several items that…
I am grateful for a simple Thanksgiving at home and beautiful weather. What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for a peaceful Sunday. What are you thankful for today?
Today, I am particularly thankful for music and dancing.
What a sweet picture of your son. He is adorable.
I am thankful for shoes that keep my feet dry and warm.
Today I am thankful that my husband has Thanksgiving Day off.
I am thankful for the rain.
I am thankful for a lovely visit with my nephew. It is lovely to see someone who is modest about his success and who realizes that in addition to talent one still needs luck and blessings and who has a kind and gentle soul. I felt ill during the visit but was glad I could tough it out for a few hours. I was so happy that he looked me up and spent time with me and that I could catch up with his news.
He had a tour of our new library — an architectural wonder — while I sat on a bench (since I didn’t feel well). I am thankful that our city councillors had the foresight to create such a wonderful library and was amazed to see all of the people using it. Long live books and the freedom to write and books.
I hope you feel well soon Anne.
I’m thankful for my job. Not too stressful and I get holidays, weekends and snow days off.
Wonderful photo of your son–and oh, the limberness of little people. Can you all remember being that flexible?!
Like Margaret, I am thankful for rain–on its way, in this case. We are finally seeing the beginnings of the end of fire season here in California–thanks be to God!
I am very thankful to a friend who gave me a wig. My hair is growing back in but it will be months before I can go anywhere. I have finally adjusted to wearing hats when out and about, but need hair for my upcoming part-time job and attending events. I ordered a wig in my color (very blond) mid-October; however it is never going to arrive and I cannot find it available anywhere to arrive before I need it. Therefore I will need to make due with what I have even if it is the wrong color (dark brown) and style. I feel rather unattractive in it, but my daughter reminds me that I could be attending without hair at all. So, I am thankful to have the opportunity to have a wig that will cover my head. I cannot go out much anyway for the recovery period, so my own hair will grow in soon enough. I remind myself how truly blessed I am.
A big hug to you. Sometimes it is not the big things that test us the most. I wonder if your hair will grow in curly? It does for many people, I think.
Me too, Elizabeth. I had lovely, lovely hair and will have to see how it grows in. Reminds me to put things in perspective. Vanity of vanities.
Trish
I thought of all the women (and men) who dye their hair unusual colors. I see teens with gray hair or jet black. You will fit right in with your color that is not your natural one! Seriously, I am happy for your sucessful treatment. As a nurse, I cared for many people whose treatment was not sucessful as well as the unpleasant side effects it causes.
I am thankful that I have a job that I actually enjoy.
I am grateful for leftovers on the nights I get home late at dinner time!
I am thankful that my family (all adults now) never complain about eating leftovers. (They know better.) 🙂
Nov. 25–I did not feel well Sunday and couldn’t pinpoint why. I am thankful that I was back to normal on Monday.
I am thankful that we are about to get a couple of days of 50-degree temperatures, when it could be snowing!
I am thankful that I can stay relaxed when I go to the dentist, though today I had to ask the dentist to stop talking about the work he was doing in my mouth, so that I could think about something else. We talked about cars and local politics instead.
I am eternally thankful for all the programs my iPhone provides for me daily so I don’t have to buy each cumbersome gadget separately. I receive benefits of address book, watch, alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, compass, GPS, encyclopedia, dictionary, books, movies, tv streamings, flashlight, house alarm, store ads, coupons, newspaper, calculator, calendar, maps, camera, photo album, video machine, radio, notebook, phone book, ruler, greeting cards, games, recipes and counting! And these are just the basics!
I am thankful for Brandy’s recommendation to read “The Invisible Bridge” by Julie Orringer. I borrowed it from the library and am enjoying reading it.
I’m thankful that the grocery stores I went to today were not busy at all!
I am thankful for the rain. And for a husband that will go out in the rain to find out why a gutter was overflowing. We have a new-to-us house so we are still finding things out.
I’m thankful that I’m able to be on maternity leave with my daughter. This time is so precious.
Thank you Brandy for reminding me of what to be thankful for. I am thankful that God has blessed me with good health to take care of my disabled husband and daughter. I am also thankful for a good home and food on the table. I am also thankful for the love of other family members and friends.
I am thankful that my membership for BJ’s expires the end of this month because I spend way too much money there! I am not going to renew it and instead see how we do without it. I also have a membership with Sam’s club that is paid through another year for things like paper products and an occasional well planned shopping trip because it is so far away.
