‘ I’m thankful for the opportunity I had yesterday to pick pomegranates from someone’s tree. Her children don’t like them and she offered me the fruit. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful that my son and grandson are coming to breakfast. We haven’t seen them since my son helped me bring Hubby home from the hospital after his heart attack. My son has been away on business.
Today I’m thankful for my sweet husband, who is very supportive and who works hard to take care of our community.
I am thankful my husband got his deer. It will provide meat this winter and help decrease the grocery bill.
I am thankful for those who are willing to share their knowledge and teach others through blogs, videos, and books.
I am thankful for a wonderful day of staying home, cleaning, and cooking. Life has been beyond hectic lately, and it was restorative to me. I also set my table with some Thanksgiving decor.
I am thankful also for a day to rest, but I did get a early morning walk in the misty rain. It is still beautiful!

I am thankful for all the different tastes of fruit, today especially raspberries. Life would be so boring if all food tasted the same.

I’m grateful for a short nap today. I feel like I’ve been “burning the candle at both ends” lately and the nap was wonderful.

I am thankful for a wonderful husband who works hard, loves me, supports our family in many ways, and provides good companionship. He has a generous heart.
I am thankful to be retired. When I am tired or just feeling lazy, I can take a rest when I need it. It is so nice to be able to crawl into bed in the middle of the day for a nap.
I am thankful for a recipes online! Such a vast amount. I often look up ideas from a few things that need to be used up. I am thankful to have a culinary adventure instead of only cooking the same old thing.
I am thankful for all the kind souls who pre-ordered our book and patiently waited for it despite its being late. Their comments returning to us from our update are truly heartwarming and gracious!
I’m grateful for my grandchildren; granddaughter just turned 19 and grandson who will be 18 in January. They are busy with college/high school, but always willing to help when we need it. And getting their hugs and “I love you” is priceless!
I am grateful for a respite from the stifling heat & drought we endured in north Texas this past summer. It finally cooled off in October.
It also rained which greened things up in late August & September.
I am thankful for the warm weather we had this weekend. It allowed me to get in some extra outdoor chores.
I am thankful that our power has been restored. A storm swept through northern Indiana Saturday afternoon and wiped out the electricity for our neighborhood for almost 24 hours. Without it, we had no water, sewage, heat, light, or ability to heat food. It was restored after church on Sunday–and we are so grateful to all the utility line workers who helped!
I am grateful for my husband and family.

I am thankful to have made it home safely from what may be my final trip to my childhood homen to clean and prepare the house for sale. I know it’s a terrible time to sell, but nothing I can do about it. It was snowing when I left and a friend called to make sure I made it home and said they received a foot of snow today.
I am thankful that I could go to church today and that I live in a country where I can worship freely. I am thankful that a friend took me out to breakfast after church.
I am thankful for a very comfortable mattress and foam pad with clean sheets and cozy comforter. It has and continues to be a blessing as I have to rest so much each day. We are warm and cozy in the wee winter hours with peaceful silence surrounding us.
Strangely, I have always felt so blessed to have silence and comfort to sleep even as a child.
I am thankful for all the pleasant memories that my brother, my sister, and I share of our childhood.
I am thankful for a wonderful son and daughter and that they are best friends.
I am thankful for a day of quiet and rest due partially to the power going out. I enjoyed the sunshine coming through the windows and just sat and relaxed awhile. I’m also thankful for our local lineman who is always out in the elements working hard to get our power restored.
I am thankful for freedom to worship freely in our country and a beautiful Sunday morning church service.
