I am thankful for a little boy who was listening at church, even when I thought he wasn’t.

I know he was listening, because the speaker said he was grateful for the prayers that had been made on his behalf.

My young son whispered to me, “What’s a bee half?”

What are you thankful for today?

I am grateful to the developer of the “Italian cobweb remover” a simple extendable pole with a brush on the end. (made in Italy not just for Italian cobwebs). It enabled me to reach the high ceiling today without the need to climb on a ladder.

I have been able to travel recently and was grateful that my luggage finally made it back to me after 4 days. I think the bag had been left in the rain as much of the contents were damp. But I was very happy to have it back, as it contained some of my favorite pieces of clothing, many from thrift stores, that can’t be easily replaced.

  7. I am grateful for time spent visiting my children at University and listening to my daughters first University choir concert in person.

I am also grateful that my very elderly parents were able to attend with us. I am not sure how much longer they will be able to go this.

The concert was wonderful and the time together even more so.

  8. I am grateful for my fellow choir members – both bell and vocal choir. Everyone is so kind and encouraging to each other and we work really hard to perform music that inspires and comforts the congregation. We are all different ages (from college interns to age 80) and we all get along so well. One parishioner complimented us saying we sang “with heartfelt humility.” I am so thankful to be able to praise God through music. 🙂

  10. So sweet, that little boy’s question!

I am thankful that we can harvest a little something every day, even if just a handful of cherry tomatoes. It was not a great gardening summer after losing May-July to grasshopper swarms, but still we have managed to grow some things. Looking around at everything that’s growing makes me smile every morning.

  11. I am thankful that our youngest child has come home to spend several days of his vacation with us. We love him dearly! He is just a great guy! We are blessed!
