  1. I am thankful for the lovely night spent around our fire pit with my husband and three fun teenagers. We just talked and made s’mores. It was magical.

  2. I am thankful for my military family. I may be different, having moved around for 20 years of my life (with my dad, then my husband), but that had made me, me.

  3. I am grateful that the business we own is SLOWLY becoming more profitable. My husband works so hard six days a week and I help him out during the week and work Saturdays so he can be off. We r blessed with great employees and wonderful customers.

  4. Ivory is adorable, and that smile is too..

I am thankful for the blessings I receive each day from God..As I got out of bed this am, it was a cold/dreary day
and the thought of getting up , getting dressed for church..seemed such an effort. BUt. I realized, oh how thankful that
I am able to get up and go. Such a blessing that I take for granted sometimes.:)

  5. Today I am thankful for the rain, that I have come to realize through reading this blog, is scarce in other parts of the country.

  6. I am thankful for the freedom to worship as I choose. I am also thankful for beautiful fall weather which allows us to keep the doors and windows open, as well as making time outside pleasant.

  7. I’m thankful for the ability to work. I don’t just mean my paid employment (although I’m grateful for my job because it provides financial stability and the ability to do ‘extras’) but for a body which is capable of physical labor, and a mind which is capable of thinking through a problem in order to find a practical solution. I work with elderly people who have in many cases lost the ability of physical labor or strategic thinking; and I am grateful I can work.

  8. I am thankful for your blog, Brandy. I has given me permission to be frugal in ways I didn’t think I could be and offers so many suggestions on how we can live much more simply. I have learned to look at what we have access to, think outside the box and find ways to help us keep our budget low. I am truly grateful for all of the suggestions and ideas presented here by you as well as everyone who comments on your blog.
