We had really strong winds the last two days. I am thankful that none of my trees broke in the wind! I will have to restake several (and I already retied one), but all are okay.
What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful for the free subscription I’ve had to Martha Stewart Living magazine for the last several years thanks for Recyclebank. The latest issue came this week and I feel really inspired to try several new recipes from it! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for a Christmas card from a reader that I received in the mail! I don’t know who you are, but thank you for your kindness! What are you thankful for today?
Today I am grateful that I can see the sky out the window from my bed. It was nice to get to look at the clouds while resting. I haven’t aways been able to do that where I’ve lived and I am grateful for that. What are you thankful for today?
I am grateful to have spent time organizing this year. While I still have some places in the house left to finish organizing, most areas in the house have been reorganized this year, and having the house in order makes life so much nicer! What are you thankful for today?
Today I am very thankful to have a working refrigerator again! We have been a week without it working. It was expensive to have fixed (the electrical board went out) but it was still less expensive than getting a new refrigerator. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful that I had the chance to work in the garden for an hour. I was able to do this because I cooked a turkey and some squash earlier in the day, giving me time outside during the time I would usually be making dinner. I will try to work in the garden…
I am thankful for the privilege of un-restricted travel. (I almost wrote “free” travel, but that isn’t quite right). So much to see, so much to learn, and so good to have a home to go back to.
Strong winds arrived here last night. So glad none of your landscaping was seriously damaged.
Today I am grateful that, with meds, our pup is recovering well from a severe kidney/bladder infection.
I am thankful for the lovely, cheerful lady checker at the grocery store this morning. Her attitude rubbed off on everyone waiting in line.
I am thankful I went to Winco last week and leveraged my shopping so that I could get a free turkey. I will use on Thanksgiving to feed our family and guests.
I am thankful that we will have sun for Thanksgiving day and the weekend. When I do my morning devotion, I sit near an East-facing window. As I prepare the evening meal, I’m in my kitchen where the window faces West. Seeing the sun rise and set during these times of the day is so beautiful.
After five years of trying in the lottery, I received word today that I have tickets to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas performance in person! My girlfriend and I are going and will stay overnight in a hotel near Temple Square. I am so excited.
I am thankful that I can hear tawny owls calling outside at night.
I’m thankful for (and to) my adult children – thoughtful, caring, good and decent humans, every one.
