I’m grateful that my husband was able to find conduit to run wires today to run to the sprinkler boxes and to run to these lampposts. He had to go to multiple stores before he found any, and we were worried that our project would be delayed.

  1. I am thankful for the hot water that comes from my tap-each morning I start my day with a blessed soak and it always feels so good. I remember my Mum saying she used to have to boil the diapers on the stove when she had little’s so I am grateful for hot water.

  2. I’m thankful for the technology that lets us check my husband’s blood glucose without fingersticks each time, and that the VA gives it to him at no charge. The transmitter part of the monitoring system is reaching the end of its battery life, and all I had to do was call the VA and they are sending a new one.

  3. I am thankful to have childhood friends to reminisce with about Thanksgivings 50 years ago. I’m so glad I made an effort to provide my own children with traditions every year for them to be able to reminisce about in the future. Warms the heart to remember.

  4. I am thankful for my health and that of my family. I have several friends struggling with cancer and mental health issues and to be healthy is a gift!

  5. I am grateful that we can buy food. I am grateful that my husband applied for a job. I am hopeful that he gets it. I just hope he doesn’t catch Covid. I have been grateful that we haven’t caught it yet.

  6. I’m so thankful my husband and I still have a job and can provide for our children. I pray the new year brings more stability for my community and neighbors.

  7. I am thankful that I was able to go to a store when it wasn’t very busy and take my time to finish stocking up on toiletries.
