Today, I am thankful that I was able to learn how to fix something that I have long had to hire out. I am glad that I can now take care of this repair myself!

I am thankful that this sweet baby boy of mine took a nap yesterday and gave me an opportunity to sew! What are you thankful for today?
Yesterday (the 18th) my family traveled to Cedar City, Utah to tour the new temple there. You can see photos of the temple here. I’m grateful that we were able to go. Friday I was grateful for the beautiful day we enjoyed. Today, I am glad that though temperatures reached 34ºF (1ºC) last…
I am thankful for the capability to speak with people in real time around the world without needing to make long-distance calls and having to pay by the minute like we used to. I never cease to be grateful for this part of modern technology. What are you thankful for today?
Today I am thankful for the invention of the doppler, which allows midwives and doctors to hear an unborn baby’s heartbeat, and for a midwife who knew what we needed to do to make sure my son was born safely. I enjoyed his giggles yesterday. He is a happy and healthy baby, and I…
I am thankful for the strength to be able to attend to several tasks today. What are you thankful for
“Enough is as good as a feast.” Caroline Ingalls I am thankful to have enough. We’ve had some rather large extra expenses this week with more to come, but I am thankful to have enough of what we need. What are you thankful for today?

I’m thankful for my (adult) children. They’re the best thing i’ve ever done!
I’m thankful that when I made a huge boo boo yesterday. Almost missed an event because I thought it started much later. My husband just rolled with it. He knew I was beating myself up about misreading the time. He just put it behind and made it work to the best of his ability to get us there as quickly and as safely as possible.
I am thankful for a beautiful first snowfall. It started in the early morning hours today and there have been off and on snow showers for several hours now. Everything is snow covered and fresh, a delight for the eyes.
What did you learn to repair? I always feel so resourceful when I can manage to fix something myself.
I thankful to have a cool and windy morning to work outside while working through an old hurt that bubbled up. Yup! I dealt with it for good today, and accomplished quite a bit of yard work to boot.
On the 4th, I was thankful to spend time with my oldest daughter & two of her children.
I’m thankful that I will be able to spend time with my mom today. I’ve been ill and not able to get out of the house except for work for several weeks. My mum is driving over to see me and will help me run a few errands. Just spending time with her makes me feel better. So thankful for her!
I am thankful my daughter was able to reconnect with a friend, who came over this weekend to hang out. I think it really made my daughter happy, which seems to be very rare these days! Such a blessing for all of us.
I am thankful for the beautiful fall weather this weekend in Alabama
I am thankful that the birds are feeding at the bird feeder. I am thankful that I got a beautiful photo of a nuthatch yesterday. It is so cheery to watch the chickadees, nuthatches and woodpeckers as they visit the feeder. Today, I stomped the snow off of my boots and memories came flooding back. That sound must remind me of parents. It is such a heartwarming sound of someone coming in from the cold. I am thankful for such a simple sound.
I am so thankful to be spending a few days hiking and exploring all around the beautiful Eastern Sierras with my husband for our 15th wedding anniversary. My parents are keeping our daughter so we can have some time alone together. I am beyond grateful.
