Today I’m thankful for tomatoes in the garden.
What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for my husband in every way.
I’m thankful for a quiet Sunday and simple meals. What are you thankful for today?
On the fourth Thursday of the November, Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. It is a day to give thanks to God for our many blessings. For the month of November, I will be posting one or more thing for which I am grateful that day. Remembering to count our blessings leads to contentment. I’d love you…
I’ve gone to bed exhausted the last several days, as we’ve been shoveling the rocks that are our native garden “soil” and loading them onto a trailer to take to the dump. So, today’s post is for both yesterday and today. While my husband was getting rid of the rocks, I took a few minutes…
I am thankful that my children did their chores this evening. They were gone all morning serving others (cleaning the church building, and collecting food for the food bank for Scouting for Food) and the house was a disaster when they left. Amazingly, they got all of their chores done for the whole day…
I’m thankful for the beautiful weather we had that made it so nice for the children to play outside. What are you thankful for today?
Today I am thankful for my best friend, Karen. We have been friends since I was 15. Thank God for wonderful friends.
Five years ago in the spring I began to participate in a 6:15 a.m. Weight/resistance training group.
Our class is mainly made up of women of my age. (Children leaving the nest, starting to retire, time of life.)I have become so blessed by these woman in my life. For the five years I would walk out every Mon,Wed,and Friday morning after class with one member.
She was diagnosed with cancer this spring and passed away early this morning. I am so thankful she came into my life and I suppose I into hers. Exercising has always been easier when I knew I was with this group.
Today I am thankful that I have women (and men) of strong faith to call upon when I need prayer – like my husband’s new job that we are waiting on. Without those who I know I can call upon and those who I know will stand with me even if they do not know me, I do not think I would have such hope. Thank you to all of you on this site as well.
Today I am thankful I was able to donate several bags of winter clothing to the local food pantry/clothing distribution center 🙂
Bless you, both!
I’m working two extra days this week. I’m thankful that the first day went faster than i thought it would. Not too much down time.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I am thankful for small surprises. A girlfriend came by for group lunch I hosted last week and brought appetizers…she didn’t take leftovers when she left…so for a few days my husband and I have made small meals on her wonderful gifts of cheese, salami and crackers. I didn’t look in the fridge drawer when she left, so only found this stuff a few days ago, it was like finding a Christmas gift! The small things in life! Everyone has different tastes, so her selection was far different than what I would have chosen but has tasted wonderful. Tonight we had sliced salami, and red pepper Boursin cheese on triscuits, what luxurious flavors. When I go grocery shopping, I always avoid the deli area, so haven’t had anything like this in years 😉
Thankful for unexpected kitten snuggles, and for a beautiful (and tidy!) home.
After a busy day, I am thankful that my husband brought home dinner from a work potluck.
I am thankful that I had such a wonderful Grandpa. Today was his birthday so I thought about him a lot. He went far too soon.
Today, I am thankful for all of the little opportunities I find to learn new things. Tonight I attended my handweavers & spinners guild monthly meeting. I always manage to learn something new every time I go. Knowledge is a wonderful thing to collect and I’m very grateful that I am wise enough to realize this.
I am thankful that someone is coming to look at our house tomorrow!!! It has been for sale for a month now and I am tying not to be discouraged as the whole keeping the house “view” ready is grinding. Praying that this family will find their home here.
I am thankful for a three-day work week this week. And for the beautiful, if cold, fall weather we’re still having.
Lea
I am thankful for the rain We have received over the last 24 hours
Sorry for your loss.
