Today, I am grateful for the pleasure of a video phone call to friends in France. I am still amazed that this technology exists and that it doesn’t cost anything to call (so different from paying high prices per minute for a regular phone call!) plus I get to see everyone’s smiles and see how much their children…

Each November, I post a series of gratitude. I share one thing I am thankful for that day and invite readers to do the same. Today, I am thankful for the freedom to choose how to educate my children. Up until 2 1/2 months ago, I had always homeschooled my children. On the first day…

Thankful: November 7th
We woke up at 4 a.m. to gunshots and sirens. The night before last, there were sirens and three helicopters nearby for over an hour. While we normally hear sirens going by and see helicopters passing by several times a week, we don’t usually hear them hanging out near here for what is obviously a…
From my daughters gratitude journal…

We love our dog, and she loves us.

Because of the brave, their sacrifice and their families- my family has freedom
I never forget that but today I get to celebrate the amazing people
What a beautiful picture Brandy! I’m grateful for my husband. I’m also grateful for the surprise discount we got yesterday for veterans at Dollar General. We were very happy! The discount is thru Sunday.
I, too, am thankful for those who have served. I’m a military family member and spouse. I’m also grateful for the many family members who have served along side or waited during deployments.
I am thankful for all the servicemen and women who fought and gave their lives for our freedom. We will remember them.
I am thankful my husband and I finally found a pharmacy with the flu shot we needed. Beautiful picture Brandy!
Yes indeed! So thankful for the men and women who have served and their families who have held down the fort while they served! There are great sacrifices involved and we are the beneficiaries of those sacrifices. One of my sons just retired after 15 years and another is serving currently. We are blessed!
I’m thankful for my mail carrier. He knows I’m running a small business and really goes the extra mile when picking up packages I’m shipping out.
I accidentally posted under November 10th but it is November 11th that is Armistice Day in Britain, Remembrance Day in Canada, Veterans’ Day in the U.S. Brandy, that is a wonderful photo. I am thankful for those who fight for liberty, who have served in wars for freedom and to prevent genocide.
Also, for those who fight against unjust wars and tyranny.
Today, I celebrate the withdrawal of Russian forces from Kherson in Ukraine!
I am thankful all the veterans that are serving now and in the past. I am thankful for theirs families and all the sacrifices that they have made.
I am thankful that my children have siblings they love so much. We got home and they were so excited to see each other again. My son wanted the baby to ride on his shoulders! I hear of people who have trouble with jealousy of the new baby and I am thankful that it hasn’t happened to be a problem for us.
I am thankful for all the brave people who have served our country.
I am thankful for the chance to take a walk on this beautiful fall day.
I am thankful for those who have served, and their families who have also sacrificed. And I particularly remember families whose loved ones will never come home in person. I know one such family personally this month, and there was an honor guard meeting my sister’s plane this week, a soldiers final trip home.
I am thankful to be able to travel freely to any state without having to show anyone anything.
I, too, am thankful for those who are serving and have served our country. So much is asked of these families.
This photo, Brandy, superb!!
I am thankful for our first cold front and badly needed rain. We are still in severe drought.
Thinking of the refugees who have come from the wars. Thankful for the countries and citizens who welcome the stranger.
I am thankful for those who fight for freedom and have many family members who have served. I admire the honorable ways in which they live their lives.
Your photography is always outstanding, and this photo is particularly spectacular! Wow!
