What are you thankful for today?
I’m so thankful for my husband’s support in my photography business. He comes along as an assistant for me at every shoot. We had a great session earlier this evening and I was so grateful to have him there. I officially announced my business over on Facebook a while ago, but if you didn’t see…
Today I am thankful for vanilla! What a rare ingredient that is so easy to purchase, and yet would have been difficult to obtain in times past. I’m also thankful for spatulas! What are you thankful for today? P.S. Here’s a little history of available spices in the 18th century to English-speaking cooks.
I’m grateful for the beautiful weather we had today. It was warm enough for the children to play outside and there was no wind. The children enjoyed eating lunch outside. What are you thankful for today?
My husband and I walked outside right before leaving to a photography session to check to see if we were dressed warmly enough. While we stood outside, it started to snow! It snowed for about 30 seconds, tiny balls of snow that at first looked like hail. It then turned to slush and rain. I…
Today I am thankful for a roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in, and food to eat. Over 11,200 children in my area are homeless, and the temperatures are going to drop here at the end of the week. I feel very blessed for the warmth, full bellies, and joys that we…
I am thankful for leftovers that made dinner very simple tonight when I wasn’t feeling well. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for, and humbled by, the people who by instinct and training run toward danger. This means the soldiers, police, emergency people, volunteers, and others who take care of the world. I don’t know if I could do what they do.
Brandy ⌠so true about friends. Iâm thankful for a warm heating pad to ease my arthritis, along with the medical miracles that allow me to go about my life as best I can.
I am thankful for a quiet weekend at home. We have busy weekends starting next weekend through Christmas, and I’m grateful for the quiet before everything starts.

I’m grateful for a tidy house and healthy children!
I’m grateful for my grandfather, father, and brother who all served in the US military. Proud of their service. I enjoyed the lovely fireworks display that was across the street from my condo on Nov. 12. I think it must have been in honor of Veterans’ Day as I can’t think of any other reason for fireworks in Nov. It was better than July 4th!
I’m grateful for my new fridge that dispenses crushed, cubed ice, and water.
You saw the Diwali celebration.
I also am grateful for (and proud of) the sacrifices and patriotism of my father and grandfather, who were WW2 veterans. I miss them both so much. I heard many stories from them that I treasure, but I always wish I’d had more time to hear more.
I am thankful for all the people, past and present, who selflessly serve our country.
I am grateful for a gorgeous fall, one of the perks of a drought and no storms to take the leaves down! It has been absolutely beautiful this fall!đ
After camping this weekend, a warm bed and a mattress!
Grateful for technology that opens our eyes to learning at our fingertips and friends worldwide!
I am thankful for a warm place to be when the cold wind blows, a snug bed and warm and nourishing food. When my children were small, this wasnât always so. Memories I cannot shake.
I’m thankful for the many veterans in my family, and I’m thankful for weather that is just about perfect, other than being too dry. I don’t even have to run fans right now.
I am thankful for family members who made the decision to enlist in the military during WWI and WWII before they were “called up”. A decision that shows how much they valued our freedoms.
I am thankful for family members who have served in the military. Both grandfathers, two uncles, and now two nephews. One uncle died in service.
I am thankful for potato chips! Truly! An acceptable vice and one that has brightened many a dismal day! Thank you, George Crum!!!
