In this season of Thanksgiving, I’ll be posting every day this month on a reason for which I am grateful that day. Today I am thankful that my husband was able to go pick up a beautiful chest of drawers yesterday afternoon for me. I found this piece on Craig’s List weeks ago. I called…
I am thankful that I had the chance to work in the garden for an hour. I was able to do this because I cooked a turkey and some squash earlier in the day, giving me time outside during the time I would usually be making dinner. I will try to work in the garden…
It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and we were able to fill the trailer twice with the rocks that are our “soil” to take to the dump. I’m grateful for good weather and the help of my family. I’m also grateful for our church’s video today on gratitude! You can watch it here. What are…
I saw something recently that asked the question, “What do you have today that you prayed for in the past?” It really struck me, because there are many things that I have enjoyed this year that I did not have in years past, as the budget did not allow for it. I thought about the…
I am thankful for a YouTube tutorial that taught me how to do three things in Lightroom with very simple and clear instructions. I was only looking for one thing in particular, so the other two elements it taught me were not only a bonus, but they were two things I was wondering how to…
Today, I am thankful for the beautiful weather that we are having. The windows have been open all day and it’s an absolutely gorgeous day here. I was able to work outside in the garden for a little over an hour in pleasant weather. The first of the paperwhites have started to open in the…

I am thankful for safe travels at Thanksgiving. My family had 17 people coming from 4 states and everyone made the trip there and back home again safely.
So glad you’re back! And thanks to Larisa and the people who made that possible!
I wasn’t able to put this on your previous thankful post about being outside in the garden, so will add it now. It is from the Chicago Botanic Garden Facebook page, and seems quite appropriate for this blog: “Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for all of the pollinators who make our food possible, every day, around the world. Bats, bees, butterflies, birds, and more pollinate plants that create one-third of the food we eat.”
Yay! Your website is up again. 😀
I’m thankful for a natural, non-contrived, no-stress opportunity to chat with my teenage son about making wise choices.
I am thankful for all the little things that make a hectic day go smoothly.
And I am thankful that Larisa fixed your website, Brandy! It’s one of my favorites.
