I am grateful to have spent time organizing this year. While I still have some places in the house left to finish organizing, most areas in the house have been reorganized this year, and having the house in order makes life so much nicer! What are you thankful for today?
Today I’m thankful for the ability to envision a plan in my mind and on paper, and a husband who is dedicated to helping me realize that vision. I’m also grateful for upside-down spray paint! What a wonderful help in marking out all the garden beds! What are you thankful for today? A note to…
I am thankful for the weaknesses of my children. In them, I see the weaknesses I had as a child: the child who loses things, the child who struggles to memorize the multiplication table, the child who understands the algebra concepts and memorizes the formulas but makes simple errors when executing the problem, the child…
I’m thankful that my husband is willing to try making things he has never made before! He says that if I design it, he will build it! I’ve been doing a lot of designing lately, so it’s been amazing to watch my designs come to life! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for all the free worksheets for children that are available to print from various websites for free. What are you thankful for today?
I’m grateful our friends were able to pick us up because our van had stopped working. We had planned a visit with them and it was great to get to see them for a short visit while they were in town. I’m also thankful that our van started again and we were able to drive…
I am thankful I checked the impact of the 2022 social security increase on my health insurance well before December 15. I now have time to enroll in a Silver health plan on healthcare.gov and still will have health insurance in January. I could easily have lost coverage, at least for a month or two.
I am so thankful for our animals. We have chickens for eggs. Rabbits for pets for the children (but purchased for manure for the garden) and our two kittens my children love dearly. They add a lot of happiness to our home.
I am thankful that we were able to go to church and have sacrament today since my husband has been so sick with Q Fever.
I am thankful for the people who gave us an antique looking stove. Feeling blessed.
I’m thankful for my sister-in-law. We’ve been related for 50 years but have only really gotten to know each other well the last couple of years, after the death or her husband and the beginning decline of my husband’s (her brother’s) health. She’s the extrovert and I’m the introvert but it turns out we have a lot in common and we just laugh and laugh when we talk. I feel so good after talking with her.
I am thankful for naps!
I am thankful for our two daughters and son in law and our happy family life.
I am thankful for a wonderful 4 days off from work. I have enjoyed family and friends and accomplished some things that I have been wanting to do. I am very blessed.
I am thankful for a slower day to walk, pray, read my Bible and rest!
Thankful for music and those who create and share it.
I am thankful for some early quiet time to work on MIL’s jacket. I really enjoyed ripping a couple seams out to see how it was done so I could redo the elastic on the sleeves. She will be happy to get it back.
I am thankful for the leftovers I put in the freezer
After 3 cancelled trips in the last 1.5 years I am very thankful for a negative travel Covid test yesterday so I can go on holiday on Tuesday.
I am thankful that we have enough to share. The church food pantry was out of certain items and sent out an SOS. I made up a bag from my pantry and brought it over the same day. A friend lost his job. I cooked him up dinner for his family with plenty of leftovers. An online friend’s mom is in the hospital so we donated to her Go Fund Me. God always makes sure that we have enough to share.
I love this!
I am for beautiful falls days.
My husband had an attack of acute diverticulitis and spent most of Wednesday night in the ER. I am thankful he was seen by the doc within minutes and given an IV and pain shot almost immediately. He has had a rough couple of days and I am thankful that he is so much better today.
I hope your husband is doing better. My dad has it and it can be horrible.
I am thankful the the online cookbook I created for my family has arrived and has exceeded my expectations. I am giving it as a Christmas gift and spent time last night tying them with ribbon while listening to Christmas music.
I am thankful for the start of the season of Advent – one of my favorite times of the year. The lesson of waiting patiently is always a good one for me.
