    2. Do the thing that you want most to accomplish that day first.

  2. Today I am thankful for the courage to say what needs to be said to my children. Sometimes, when they make decisions that are questionable, it is difficult to open a dialogue.

  8. I’m grateful for my friend who was a founding member of our local food pantry. I helped her this morning, at the pantry, stocking shelves. She gave me several items to share with a neighbor who would never go to a food pantry but could use a blessing once in awhile.

  9. I’m thankful that I could go grocery shopping. We bought things that were on sale for Thanksgiving. I was glad to get out of the house, even if I did wait in the car while my husband went in and I “shopped” while on the phone with him. We saw deer and a skunk with a white tail on the way home. I was thankful that we did not hit the skunk and it did not get scared.
