I’m thankful for your shopping list. I bought the POM toilet paper at Sam’s this week. I really like it and it was the only one available. I stocked up for two weeks on food so we can go without entering the store during the Thanksgiving rush.
I’m thankful for the long hug my daughter gave me as she left home today. Starting a new life in a new country. I will miss her but I’m also thankful for having been lucky enough to be her Mum.

Thank you. I hope and pray that as parents we have equipped her for the journey ahead. Brandy’s posts have been inspiring and so useful over the years, even in these uncertain times we still have a lot to be thankful for.
I’m thankful for scientists all around the world who are working to find a vaccine for Covid 19. They appear to be working collaboratively in many different countries and several vaccines offer hope. So grateful.
I am grateful for the lovely weather we are having this week, and that hurricanes should be done for the year.
I am thankful for our two dogs. They provide such comfort and love to me. Without them, I would not be able to take this isolation. Going on 16 months now!

I am thankful for my 4 year old laugh. I am thankful I to the person who dropped off Boxcar Children books at our local Goodwill. I found 5 we have not read! This will give us pleasure the next 3 weeks. Private gatherings are limited to 8 people and we are a family of 6. Almost all our friends are lager families.

I have a similar one of my dad with my daughter and one of me with my paternal grandpa. Both are a favorite!
I am grateful that my 15-year-old son still gives me real snuggle hugs. Never mind that I’m now much shorter than he is, he still gives me a big bear hug and still asks me every morning if I’ve slept well and had good dreams (something he’s done since he was about 4).

I am thankful my health ins is getting approvals for tests out with in 3 days of requests since my ins is going up by 1/3rd Jan 1 with a lot higher oop
I am thankful I have stocked up for a year or two as the shelves are empty and the kids are already asking if I have enough to spare (planned that would happen)
I am thankful that even though it puts my son at risk, he is going into his VFW to make sure the bartender does not have issues with anyone when she cuts off the last drink at 9 and shoves everyone out the door at 9:45 as she has to be closed up by 10 (curfew in OH)
I am thankful (even when grouchy) that I still have tomatoes to can that I brought in and put in the grow cart .
Cherish that memory. My son is now 56 but, there are times when I can still feel those little 4 year old arms wrapped around my neck and hear the whispered words of ‘I love you, Mommy’. Although I must admit the bear hugs I receive from time to time now are still memory worthy.
I am thankful for the two granddaughters we have and the one who is just old enough now (3) to hike with us in the Redwoods and begin to learn about and love nature. For Christmas she will be receiving her first pair of real hiking boots.
