I’m thankful that my daughter’s interview went well today! An internship in her field is required for graduation, and she was able to secure an internship today!
What are you thankful for?

What are you thankful for?
Today, I am thankful for all progress we have made in the garden. I am able to plant again with hope for a spring harvest. We missed snow peas this spring. Now, there are new snow pea plants coming up in the garden. Lettuce is coming up, and green onions as well. I read yesterday…
Today, I’m thankful that my youngest felt well enough to play part of the day. My next youngest is still sick, so I’m also grateful that we were planning a quiet Thanksgiving at home with no guests this year. I will hopefully have a chance to get back to some sewing and present making in…
I’m thankful I was able to visit with my brother before and on Thanksgiving. I’m grateful I was able to visit with friends I haven’t seen in years today. What are you grateful for today?
Today we were gifted a fridge/freezer combo and all the food in it, plus all of the food from the family’s pantry. The couple recently became just one (the wife passed away recently; this is the funeral we attended a few months back) and the husband is moving. This was his extra fridge that…
I’m thankful that I’ve always been a morning person. My mother tells me that when I was a little over a year old, I would climb up and jump out of my crib every morning at 4 a.m. I was ready to start the day! Getting up early in the morning affords me the opportunity…
I’m thankful for a quiet Sunday and simple meals. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for a colleague who, during a work meeting at a cafe, bought me a delicious fruit tart. I am grateful to work with wonderful people.
I am thankful for trees, and for the intricate, complex connections between plants and animals and the whole of the world.
So happy for Winter! Glad all the pieces fell in place for her.J
I second this. Winter is a Rock Star! She got married in the midst of COVID. Then she had a baby. She never missed a beat. She’s graduating from university soon despite all the many recent changes in her life. She is wise beyond her years & a hard worker. I’m sure her family is so proud of her.
We are. She will also graduate debt-free with savings in the bank. She’s awesome!
I am thankful for the latest round of bargains (deodorant, soaps and lotion) that has helped me get us up to about a year’s supply of food, sundries, car parts and such. If we couldn’t shop, we’d be OK but it would be rather interesting about 6 months out. I’m not sure how you did it, Brandy. Needs must.
I am thankful for friends that have been there for me during a difficult year.
I am thankful that I have Christmas ornaments to put on my tree. They bring back good memories of Christmas in the past.
I am thankful for Turkey Noodle Soup that is ready for tomorrow’s meal. As much as I like the sun I am thankful I only opened the drapes and mini blinds on the back side of our house which kept the heat from coming on for most of the day even though we had a low of 29 and high of 48 with wind.
I am thankful for my husband’s singing voice. I am not a confident singer at all, so I love that he is able to lead us all in sung family prayers. It always feels more special to light a candle and gather round and sing, than to just say them.
I am thankful for modern medicine. I am going for my yearly mammogram today. My MIL passed away from breast cancer when my husband was young. My girls are high risk so it is very important to me that everyone gets their yearly mammogram. If anyone hasn’t gotten theirs this year, make the appointment. Stay healthy everyone.
How wonderful for Willow!
Today I am thankful for the cup of delicious tea I drink every morning out of a favorite mug.
I’m thankful for all the Little Free Libraries in my neighborhood. We can get books to read there and give away ones we’ve read. It’s so interesting to see the books come and go and then return several times.
Congratulations to the lovely Winter.
I am grateful that our home is safe and secure and this time of year in Arizona is beautiful.
I am thankful for the chance to celebrate their 50 years of marriage with my sister and brother-in-law this weekend.
On this final day in November, I’ll say that I’m so grateful for too much to list. I’m truly blessed.d
It is so hard to believe your daughter is graduating already, it seems just a short time ago we were seeing her in photos with her suitcase, I am glad you are able to see her graduate, and very best wishes to her.
I too am thankful for my morning tea Cindi, ann lee s
I am grateful, first, last and always for my husband.
Congratulations to your daughter!!
I am thankful at age 70 for my health. I was able to help my husband chop down some overgrown junipers in the back yard – it looks so much better.
I have enjoyed reading everyone’s contribution to the thankful blog this month.
Brandy, I’m grateful that you share your gratitude posts. It reminds me how blessed I am!
I am thankful for finding a dress today at Goodwill. My son is getting married in 12 days and I did not have a dress that fit what his fiancée wanted for me. I am helping a neighbor who is terminally ill and it has given me perspective to not sweat the small things. I prayed and asked the Lord to help me find one. Walked into today to return one that didn’t work and saw a Talbots dress in my size, the right color, length and long sleeved. It is very simple and not a mother of the groom dress, but it will do. It was also senior day! I had asked around and nothing anyone had fit me. This has been on my to do list for a month or more. So, so thankful!
Congratulations!
