Today, I’m thankful for a referral from a friend for a last-minute photo shoot of some friends of hers! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that I remembered to go to the store at the last minute. I had already put on my pajamas when I remembered that I needed to go to the store for the $0.49 a pound pasta sale. I got dressed again and drove to the store to get some pasta! The store has…
Today I am thankful for the ability to be up and doing! While I am still healing and cannot sit, today I had the strength to get up and get some things done. After not being able to do much of anything the last two days, being out of bed for just a bit…
Every year in November, I do a post each day of the month where I share my gratitude for something. In this time of Thanksgiving, I love to reflect on my many blessings, be they large or small, and I invite my readers to share one thing for which they are also thankful that day….
Today, I’m thankful that my youngest felt well enough to play part of the day. My next youngest is still sick, so I’m also grateful that we were planning a quiet Thanksgiving at home with no guests this year. I will hopefully have a chance to get back to some sewing and present making in…
I am thankful for the friends I made many years ago in Lyon, France. I am in touch with almost all of them on a regular basis and they continue to bless my life. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful that we have saved money all year so we have enough to buy Christmas presents for our loved ones.
I am thankful that we are financially able to have a Thanksgiving meal, heat for our home, loved ones with us—and a big ol’ television to watch sports on! 😊🦃
I am thankful that my husband is home for 5 days!
I am thankful for my health and, like you, the strength to complain what needs to be done. I am also thankful for the health of all my family members.
That was supposed to say complete! Not complain. So sorry!
I am thankful that our children have been accepted into the Universities of their choosing, with good financial aid. For what they wish to do for careers, a University education is necessary and I am grateful they can do that with minimal cost to us.

Cold and flu medication. And warm socks. 😛
I am thankful we live by wonderful, caring neighbors. We all look out for one another, and we vary in ages by a few decades.
I’m thankful the grocery store this morning wasn’t crowded and I got all the few last minute items I wanted.
I am thankful for sunshine.
In just the right amounts.
And for moonlight and starlight.
In just the right amounts.
I am thankful that we have plenty of good food to cook for Thanksgiving Dinner, and most of our family will be here to share it.
The holidays always remind me how thankful I am for my double oven!
This morning, I have mixed emotions on my sense of thankfulness. My brother, who lives in Chesapeake, VA and shops at that Walmart texted me to say they were fine. While I’m grateful he and my family are fine, my heart hurts for those families who are not fine this morning. I pray we can find a way to stop these senseless acts of violence!
I’m thankful for worldwide communication and accurate weather forecasts. On another forum, we were discussing how the eruption of a volcano on Tonga caused the year without a summer in 1816 and how truly frightening that would have been. People didn’t know why the sun wasn’t shining, why it was colder, why crops failed, causing starvation, etc. It would still be a problem today but we would know why and could take steps to counteract that.
I am thankful that I have food in my freezer.
I am thankful for family to have over for Thanksgiving. I’m also thankful for friends, in person and online.
I am thankful for three friends who have been with me for decades. They are treasures ❤️
I am thankful for a beautiful day, a wonderful phone call for a loved one, and finding deals on some things we needed to stock up on as well as the few things we needed for our Thanksgiving meal.
I am thankful for legs that walk, arms that hold, eyes that see, ears that hear, and a heart that beats.
I am so thankful for and never take for granted our abundant supply of clean running water in our home.
