I am thankful for the strength to be able to attend to several tasks today.

What are you thankful for
I’m thankful my husband was able to work from home today. It was a great blessing to me. What are you thankful for today?
We woke up at 4 a.m. to gunshots and sirens. The night before last, there were sirens and three helicopters nearby for over an hour. While we normally hear sirens going by and see helicopters passing by several times a week, we don’t usually hear them hanging out near here for what is obviously a…
It’s the last day of November, and therefore the last of my thankful posts for the month. I am still sick! (I ended up back in bed yesterday and did not post). Today, I am thankful for my daughter who, though she is also sick, was so helpful in helping me to care for her…
I’m thankful for leftovers. I won’t be cooking for days, which is great; I have lots of other things to do! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for the opportunity to go garage sale shopping with my mom this morning. It’s an unexpected trip; we usually only go on two Saturday mornings a year. She found a community sale for us to attend, and while I think it’s much smaller than where we usually go (probably one tract, versus an…
I’m grateful today for roses. I was looking at some medieval rose gardens via Pinterest, and I thought about how roses were a luxury item for so long. Only the wealthy had rose gardens. There were some once a year blooming wild roses, but roses gardens were a thing for those with huge estates. Today,…
I am thankful that we have saved money all year so we have enough to buy Christmas presents for our loved ones.
I am thankful that we are financially able to have a Thanksgiving meal, heat for our home, loved ones with us—and a big ol’ television to watch sports on! 😊🦃
I am thankful that my husband is home for 5 days!
I am thankful for my health and, like you, the strength to complain what needs to be done. I am also thankful for the health of all my family members.
That was supposed to say complete! Not complain. So sorry!
I am thankful that our children have been accepted into the Universities of their choosing, with good financial aid. For what they wish to do for careers, a University education is necessary and I am grateful they can do that with minimal cost to us.

Cold and flu medication. And warm socks. 😛
I am thankful we live by wonderful, caring neighbors. We all look out for one another, and we vary in ages by a few decades.
I’m thankful the grocery store this morning wasn’t crowded and I got all the few last minute items I wanted.
I am thankful for sunshine.
In just the right amounts.
And for moonlight and starlight.
In just the right amounts.
I am thankful that we have plenty of good food to cook for Thanksgiving Dinner, and most of our family will be here to share it.
The holidays always remind me how thankful I am for my double oven!
This morning, I have mixed emotions on my sense of thankfulness. My brother, who lives in Chesapeake, VA and shops at that Walmart texted me to say they were fine. While I’m grateful he and my family are fine, my heart hurts for those families who are not fine this morning. I pray we can find a way to stop these senseless acts of violence!
I’m thankful for worldwide communication and accurate weather forecasts. On another forum, we were discussing how the eruption of a volcano on Tonga caused the year without a summer in 1816 and how truly frightening that would have been. People didn’t know why the sun wasn’t shining, why it was colder, why crops failed, causing starvation, etc. It would still be a problem today but we would know why and could take steps to counteract that.
I am thankful that I have food in my freezer.
I am thankful for family to have over for Thanksgiving. I’m also thankful for friends, in person and online.
I am thankful for three friends who have been with me for decades. They are treasures ❤️
I am thankful for a beautiful day, a wonderful phone call for a loved one, and finding deals on some things we needed to stock up on as well as the few things we needed for our Thanksgiving meal.
I am thankful for legs that walk, arms that hold, eyes that see, ears that hear, and a heart that beats.
I am so thankful for and never take for granted our abundant supply of clean running water in our home.
