What are you thankful for today?
It’s the last day of the month. There are so many things I had hoped to accomplish this month: sew presents, work in the garden, and organize things in the house. A few are done; most are not yet. Tomorrow starts a new month, and I will continue to work to accomplish my goals. I’m…
I am thankful that I was able to go to bed early (7:15!) last night. I’ve been up since 3:00 a.m. with the baby and it would be so much harder to face the day if I hadn’t gotten to bed early. The baby is now asleep (it’s 6:00 a.m.) and I have a load…
I’m so thankful today that I found an Oroblanco grapefruit tree for the garden! It is a five-gallon pot and the straightest one I found was twice as tall as the others in the same size pot (it was easily a year older in growth). It was $29.95, which is what I was hoping to…
I’m thankful for all the free worksheets for children that are available to print from various websites for free. What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that I was able to deliver photos that I took of my great-nephew’s baby blessing to his parents today. It was my first time using the website to transfer photos to someone and it was a learning curve for me. I offered to take photos of a few families locally for free…
I am thankful to be able to share the abundance of basil from my garden with three people today. I had planned to cut it and pull it all out today and tomorrow, and I really didn’t want to waste any of it, but it is getting too cold for it to keep growing. …
Today I am thankful for doing this all month. It has made me realize all the little things in life that make it wonderful.
I’m with you Brandy – hugs are the best! Even my 6ft 1in tall 14 year old son still gives amazing bear hugs – just like he did as a toddler? They’re a favorite part of my day.

I’m thankful for a family visit to the local art museum. Fee admission for locals and so fun.
Today I am thankful for salvation. I am thankful to be a child of God. I am also thankful for my earthly family. We are not perfect, but we love each other and always will. I have mentioned before that our daughter has developmental disabilities. She is a funny and adorable. She has made us all better people.
My cup runneth over!
Love, love, love this photo of the two of you.
Thank you!
I am thankful for people who continue to come together for good, and for the hope that builds again throughout the Advent season.
I’m thankful that I made it this far. I don’t have the disease that took my Mother nor the cancer that took my Father. I am a blessed woman!
I am thankful to have attended a free holiday concert last night. The music was lovely, well-arranged, and brought a peaceful feeling to the beginning of the Christmas season.
I am thankful for this blog…for you, Brandy, and all of the commenters. It is such an encouragement to me!
Today I’m thankful that I got a bit more sleep last night than the night before (my daughter has a feverish cold). Rest really restores the spirit!
Love the photo. Hugs are the best!
I am thankful for the opportunity to see an old friend today. I don’t see her very often, but she recently moved back to my area, so hopefully our visits will be more frequent. I have known her since I was 4 years old, and we have seen each other through many life changes.
I am thankful for “normal.” Now that my husband is back at work after his very serious heart attack we are able to return to a normal routine. I’m also thankful that my husband is now willing to eat more healthy and take walks with me on a daily basis.
I am thankful that my mother taught me how to cook and that my children learned to cook so I know that they can fix a meal for themselves.
Brandy, thank you for taking the time and energy to post about gratitude multiple times during the month of November. Your posts helped remind me of how truly blessed I am.
