I’m thankful for the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately.
What are you thankful for today?

What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful that my daughter’s interview went well today! An internship in her field is required for graduation, and she was able to secure an internship today! What are you thankful for?
I am grateful for the gift of 50 pounds of potatoes that I was given from a friend of my mother’s. That was an unexpected surprise and we will have no trouble eating them! What are you thankful for today?
I’m thankful for the opportunity to vote today. What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful today for the Armenian cucumbers that grew in our garden this year, which allowed me to make pickles. We had pickles with our lunch today.
I’m thankful that we were able to load up a trailer full of bad dirt to take to the dump. We have lots and lots more to do, but we’re making (slow!) progress! If you want to see what I mean about our dirt (aka lime rocks), check out my latest video in the garden…
Today marks the 200th day without rain in Las Vegas. Our normal rainfall here is 4 inches (10 centimeters) a year, and we’ve only received 2 inches (5 cm) this year. We had a very wet spring, thankfully, but a very dry winter is predicted. We’re also having record heat for this time of year!…
I, too, am thankful for our beautiful autumn weather in northern Idaho…although we did have snow about two weeks ago. This is one year that all of the fall chores are getting done because there’s no excuse not to!
I introduced my friend Heather (who has a very low income) to OCC and she had a wonderful time filling a box for a girl 10-14. I wasn’t doing anything else Thursday, so I made a gathered skirt for her shoebox. She bought a coordinating T-shirt at Michael’s. Her 9-year-old granddaughter loved the skirt and it fit her perfectly! So Heather–who I am thankful for every day–is going to make her granddaughter a shoebox, too, and I’ve signed up to make her a skirt, too.
I’m very thankful to have found almost 20 lbs of an edible and highly medicinal mushroom, maitake or hen of the woods, on our land today.
I am thankful for laughter, especially the sound of my family.
I’m thankful for snuggles with my newborn and for the opportunity for my parents and sisters to snuggle her too. It is so lovely to see how happy she makes my family.
I too am thankful for the beautiful weather we have been having in the Seattle area.
I’m thankful for my husband. We have had our challenges, but I am happy to have him by my side. He makes me laugh and he is truly a good and honest person.
I am thankful for a family that is always willing to help whether it is raking leaves or moving furniture.
I am thankful for having basic knowledge of baking which allows me to make wonderful, inexpensive treats for my family on a budget. I am also thankful for naps on the couch, in front of a nice warm fire, on a cold and snowy afternoon.
I am thankful that our whole family is feeling better after being ill for the last week. I am especially thankful that my husband is well on the mend and has a day off today to rest.

Today, I am thankful for inexpensive reading glasses.
I’m thankful to make cookies and memories with my granddaughters.
