Citrus

I’m so thankful today that I found an Oroblanco grapefruit tree for the garden! It is a five-gallon pot and the straightest one I found was twice as tall as the others in the same size pot (it was easily a year older in growth). It was $29.95, which is what I was hoping to pay for a tree of this size.

What are you thankful for today?

  11. I’m thankful for warm quilts and for being able to go to bed early when I’m not feeling well. My dad, who served in the Army in the late 1960’s, still says to this day, “I don’t need much. I’d like a hot shower and a bed to sleep in. And a hot meal. That’s all I need.” And he doesn’t just say it, his life reflects it. When I want more, I think of him, and am reminded to be thankful for my bed.

  12. It was a beautiful warm day here in NW PA and Hubby had the day off so we were able to gather supplies for our front porch remodel and get the wood panels sanded for the walls – outside – and not have the dust in doors and got them inside before the rains came today! Such a wonderful blessing the last several warm days were!!! Also, so thankful for God’s protective hand over our local school district so that the children can still attend brick and mortar school. With the Covid 19 cases at a high level in our county it is day by day. This allows me to still work each day for that I am very grateful!! Have a Blessed day!!

  13. In Canada, it is Remembrance Day. I am thankful that my grandfathers both survived the First World War and my father survived the Second World War. I remember with love my Great Uncle who perished when he was killed instantly at the battle of Argonne La Meuse. He left a one year old son and a young wife who carried on bravely throughout her life. I remember the hundreds of thousands of victims of war. I will be watching the remembrance Day services today.
